Blue screen of death
I wouldnt advise purchasing as more often than not I get a blue screen of death when attempting to view the guide.

The best Travel App out yet!
I found the App incredibly useful, especially the near me funcitonality. The list of Insiders are really impressive as well - cant wait to try Paris!
Needs lots of work!
I traveled to NYC this week & was looking for an app that would help me get around. I purchased this one as the most likely to provide information for a new visitor. I like the city map and the basic layout of the app. I like the way the developer has organized the information and the fact that you can directly connect to websites (such as MoMA) from the app. However, I cant recommend the app -- the price is way too high for what is provided and the information way too skimpy. I was very disappointed that the app lacks basic points of interest -- for instance, the NY Public Library isnt on the app. (in fact, on the map, the location of the library is listed as the Groton Reservior (former) -- not very helpful!). This listing of eateries is really disappointingly thin. Im wondering if only the restaurants reviewed by Conde Nast made the list? For instance, our hotel (not listed on the app) was in the Upper East Side -- where exactly 3 restaurants can be found on the app. Are they kidding? Even basics like Juniors (famous for cheesecake & located in Times Square) cant be found on this app. My husband & finally resorted to our pocket version of Lonely Planet New York City guide, which contains LOTS more helpful information than this app AND it is 3 years old. Well be back to NYC and hopefully the developers at Conde Nast will have significantly improved this app.
Crashes Constantly
Maybe the app is great but I wouldnt know because it crashes constantly. Maybe its not updated for ios 5? All I know is Im only in NY for two days and I wasted $ on this app.
